Music of the Coalfields To listen to some music from the coalfields and see more photos, click here.

The West Virginia Music Hall of Fame’s award-winning Traveling Museum; its unique mobile stage, The Bandwagon; and a number of portable Exhibits, including Music of the Coalfields, The Art of West Virginia Music, and Music of the Kanawha Valley, ’60s and ’70s, can come to your community, school or event.

We can also put together an evening of music that pays tribute to some of West Virginia’s notable musicians, including Little Jimmy Dickens, Bill Withers, Bily Edd Wheeler, Kathy Mattea and others. Or we can stage a “variety show” that will take you on a musical tour of the state.

Call or write and let us know what you have in mind and we will do our best to help you make it happen. We are happy to work with you to help secure public or private funding to cover the expenses.
